The serene beauty of river banks is a soothing site always, and we all love to go on a picnic at the river banks. Boating, site-seeing and some religious visits is very relaxing on weekends, isnt it?

Drawn on canvas of size 2 x 2 ft, this oil painting work is close to my heart as I relate myself with this family.

Rivers have been a wonderful source of inspiration, they carries a message of consistency, a never-say-die attitude and finding its way through the rough and rocky patches on its way.

Such rivers are a usual site across India, especially in Kerala where I was born and brought up. In fact, rivers have been a part of my life all along, in Bharuch (Gujarat) where I lived for a long time and worked in various Chemical Industries, the Narmada River was close by.

This work is on a small board of 1 x 1 ft in oil paint.

Shri Krishna - A priceless one

Drawn on a 2 x 2.5 ft canvas board with oil paint, "Shri Krishna" is my most prized painting till date. For me this painting is simply "priceless" and cannot imagine selling this painting ever, not just because it took me more than 2 months to develop this painting but also because I am deeply attached with this painting. I will post more paintings on my blog for commercial purposes soon.

The main theme of this work lies in the past where India lived in the villages. These two village girls are going out on their routine task of fetching water, in a typical rural attire. I crafted this on ceramic with a lot of chisel work and acrylic painting.
